The FORTIS Open Call OC#2.2 “Exploiting the FORTIS Solution in Other Key Sectors” has been launched to support projects aiming to transfer and validate the FORTIS human-robot interaction solution in new civilian application domains.
The call targets technology transfer and validation activities that will enable the adoption of the FORTIS solution in sectors such as agriculture, healthcare, retail, and events. Supported projects are expected to start at TRL 4–5 and reach TRL 7 by the end of the project.
Applications must be submitted by consortia consisting of two eligible entities, including at least one SME. Eligible participants include universities, research and technology organisations, SMEs, start-ups, mid-caps, and end-user organisations.
The call has a total budget of €1.08 million. Funding rates are 100% for universities and research organisations and 70% for SMEs and other for-profit entities.
Projects are expected to have a duration of 10 months. Applications will be accepted until 4 November 2026.
